Proposing for Observing Time
Community observing time is available through both SAO and ASIAA time allocation processes. Proposals are accepted across all science areas. The SMA welcomes proposals from the broad astronomical community.
SAO Time Allocation
Proposals reviewed by SAO TAC. Open to all astronomers. Semiannual deadline.
ASIAA Time Allocation
Proposals reviewed by ASIAA TAC. Open to astronomers in Taiwan and partner institutions.
